Lutley Kindergarten is a welcoming, community-based pre-school in Halesowen, providing high-quality early years education for children aged 2 to 5 years.
For over 40 years, we’ve supported local families by creating a caring, safe, and stimulating environment where every child can develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
We are a registered charity (No. 1044451), run by a dedicated team of early years professionals who are passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Over Four Decades of Community Care
Lutley Kindergarten has been part of the Halesowen community for more than four decades, originally founded by local parents who wanted a high-quality, community-focused pre-school experience for their children.
Today, we continue that proud tradition. As a charity-run setting, we reinvest everything back into improving our environment, resources, and staff development to give every child the best start possible.
A Safe and Inspiring Space for Little Learner
Based at Lutley Community Centre, our setting includes bright indoor play areas, creative corners, and a secure outdoor learning space.
Children are encouraged to explore freely, make friends, and learn through hands-on experiences — from imaginative play and early literacy to outdoor discovery and group activities.
Our environment is carefully planned to promote independence, curiosity, and confidence while supporting each child’s individual interests and abilities.
Proud to Be Part of the Halesowen Community
We’re proud of our close links with local families and schools — including Lutley Primary School — helping to ensure a smooth transition for children moving into Reception.
We also welcome visitors and specialists who enrich our curriculum, such as Music Bugs, Animal Antics, and local sports clubs.
Our community partnerships help children experience a sense of belonging and connection that extends beyond the classroom.

Lutley Kindergarten is Ofsted rated “Good”, reflecting the quality of care, teaching, and learning we provide.
Our most recent inspection took place in March 2024, where inspectors praised our nurturing environment, dedicated staff, and the progress children make during their time with us.
Experienced, Qualified, and Caring Staff
Our dedicated team of practitioners are all fully qualified in early years education and have extensive experience supporting children aged 2–5. Each member of staff holds an enhanced DBS check and completes regular safeguarding and first aid training.We are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that our practice reflects the latest guidance and best standards in early years care and education.
